The August Members Meeting was held at Wellingborough RFC last Thursday evening. Thank you to everyone who took the time to attend.
The meeting started with presentations; the Paul Aden trophy for services rendered went to Colin Wright and the most improved referee went to Mark Hyde. Congratulations to both.
The meeting then continued with a review of the Domestic Law Variations. John took us through the DLVs and the Tackle Hub information before showing a series of clips from a local game played the previous weekend. These showed our own Paul Baynes refereeing the DLVs in a pre-season friendly. These video clips together with the outcome came be found I the Training section of the EMRURS Documents page of this website (you will need to be a paid up member to log-in and access these pages).

Nigel requests that everyone update their availability on WTR as games will be coming thick and fast and he need to sort out the appointments.
Gary informed the group that the society is changing kit suppliers. You should therefore not order anything from Serious Sport. The link to the new supplier will be added to the Shop page of this website soon. Gary also pointed out, that to reduce costs, orders would be bulked together so there may be a short delay between order and dispatch.
The next meeting will be on Monday 18th September 2023 at Olney RFC.
